Information
Description
What It Is:
This is an end-of-year well-being review worksheet. It prompts students to reflect on their well-being by drawing or writing inside summer-themed shapes like a seashell, beach umbrella, bucket, shovel, and starfish. The prompts include 'A strength I showed', 'Something I'm proud of myself for', 'A happy memory', 'A challenge I overcame', 'Something or someone who inspired me', and 'Something that made me laugh'. There are also spaces for the student's name and date.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is suitable for grades 1-5. The prompts are simple enough for younger students to understand and respond to with drawings or simple sentences, while older students can provide more detailed reflections. The summer theme is engaging for all elementary grades.
Why Use It:
This worksheet encourages students to reflect on their personal growth, positive experiences, and challenges they've overcome throughout the school year. It promotes self-awareness, gratitude, and a positive mindset as they transition into summer break. It also provides a creative outlet for self-expression.
How to Use It:
Provide each student with a copy of the worksheet. Explain the purpose of reflecting on their well-being. Instruct them to draw or write their responses to each prompt within the corresponding summer shape. Allow students time to complete the worksheet independently. Optionally, facilitate a class discussion where students can share their reflections.
Target Users:
This worksheet is designed for elementary school students (grades 1-5) and teachers looking for an engaging and reflective end-of-year activity. School counselors could also use this as part of a well-being check-in.
