Description
What It Is:
This is a black and white 'I-Spy Thanksgiving Game' worksheet. The main section of the worksheet contains scattered illustrations of Thanksgiving-themed items, including turkeys, pumpkins, corn, pies, scarecrows, and pilgrim hats. Below this section are rows of smaller images of Thanksgiving items (turkey, acorn, apple, pie, pilgrim hat, scarecrow, corn, pumpkin) with empty boxes next to each, presumably for counting the number of each item.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Preschool, Kindergarten, and early Grade 1. The activity is simple counting and visual recognition, making it appropriate for young children who are developing these skills.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps develop counting skills, visual discrimination, and object recognition. It also introduces or reinforces Thanksgiving-related vocabulary and themes.
How to Use It:
Instruct the student to count the number of each Thanksgiving item in the main section of the worksheet. Then, have them write the corresponding number in the box next to the matching image in the bottom rows.
Target Users:
Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first-grade students who are learning to count and recognize objects. Also suitable for ESL students learning Thanksgiving vocabulary.
