Description
What It Is:
This is an 'I Spy a Turkey!' worksheet. The main part of the worksheet contains a collection of turkey illustrations. Below the main image are four boxes, each containing a different turkey image. Under each of these smaller images is a blank square, presumably for writing the number of times that particular turkey appears in the larger picture. All illustrations are black and white.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is suitable for Preschool and Kindergarten. The activity requires counting and visual discrimination skills, which are typically developed in these early grades.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps develop visual scanning skills, counting skills, and one-to-one correspondence. It reinforces number recognition and provides a fun, themed activity for Thanksgiving or fall.
How to Use It:
Instruct the student to find and count each of the four specific turkey images within the larger collection of turkeys. Then, have them write the total number of times they found each turkey in the blank square below the corresponding image.
Target Users:
This worksheet is designed for preschool and kindergarten students who are learning to count, recognize numbers, and improve their visual perception skills. It is also suitable for occupational therapy activities.
