Description
What It Is:
This is a 'Back To School Would You Rather' worksheet activity. Students cut out the template, fold it into a cube, and glue it to create a die. The die contains different 'Would you rather...' questions on each face, such as 'Would you rather study science or arts?', 'Would you rather study literature or politics?', 'Would you rather work on a project or an essay?', 'Would you rather have AI or history as a subject?', 'Would you rather study geometry or algebra?', and 'Would you rather have physical books or e-books?'. There are spaces for the student's name and grade at the top of the page.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is suitable for upper elementary and middle school students (Grades 4-8). The questions require students to think critically about their preferences and engage in discussions, making it appropriate for these age groups.
Why Use It:
This worksheet is a fun and engaging way to encourage students to think critically and express their opinions. It can be used as an icebreaker activity at the beginning of the school year to get students talking and learning about each other's interests. It also encourages decision-making and preference articulation.
How to Use It:
First, have students fill in their name and grade at the top. Next, instruct them to carefully cut out the die template along the solid lines. Then, fold along the dotted lines and glue the tabs to form a cube. Finally, students can roll the die and answer the 'Would you rather...' question that lands face up. This can be done individually, in pairs, or as a whole class activity.
Target Users:
This worksheet is ideal for teachers looking for a creative and interactive back-to-school activity. It's also suitable for students in grades 4-8 who enjoy expressing their opinions and participating in group discussions. It can be used in the classroom or as a fun activity at home.
