What It Is:
A set of Bingo cards featuring -at word family words such as cat, hat, bat, fat, sat, and more. Students listen to the called-out word and mark the matching space on their Bingo card.
Why Use It:
This Bingo activity strengthens CVC decoding, phonics fluency, and word family recognition in a fun, game-based format. It keeps learners motivated while reinforcing reading skills.
How to Use It:
• Call out –at words from a word list or picture cards.
• Students find and cover the matching word on their Bingo card.
• Continue until a student completes a row, column, or diagonal and calls “Bingo!”
