What It Is:
A fact-family worksheet that helps students build a deeper understanding of how multiplication and division are related. Each house shows a trio of numbers, and students write the two multiplication facts and two division facts that form the complete fact family.
Why Use It:
This worksheet strengthens foundational number sense and helps students see the relationship between operations. By practicing fact families, learners develop quicker recall of multiplication and division facts, improve problem-solving strategies, and build confidence with fact fluency.
How to Use It:
• Have students read each set of three numbers in the roof of each house.
• Students write two multiplication equations and two division equations for each fact family.
• Use for classwork, homework, small-group instruction, or math centers.
• Great for reinforcing fluency and preparing for multi-step problem solving.
Grade Suitability:
Best suited for:
• Grades 2–4 learning multiplication and division relationships
• Students needing practice with fact families and basic operation fluency
Target Users:
Teachers, parents, tutors, and students working on multiplication/division understanding and fluency.
