Information
Description
What It Is:
This is a Christmas-themed Bingo worksheet. It features a 5x5 grid with Christmas-related images such as a candy cane, sleigh, North Pole sign, Santa Claus, a nutcracker, Christmas tree, stocking, mug of cocoa, holly, reindeer, Christmas sweater, bells, a fireplace, mittens, wreath, gingerbread man, present, snow globe, elf, Santa's bag, Christmas lights, an ornament, a gingerbread house, and a snowflake. The center square is marked as a 'Free Space.'
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade. The images are simple and easily recognizable, making it appropriate for young children. The game format is also easy to understand.
Why Use It:
This worksheet can be used to reinforce Christmas vocabulary, improve visual discrimination skills, and enhance listening skills if an adult is calling out the images. It's also a fun and engaging activity for celebrating the holiday season.
How to Use It:
Print out the bingo cards. An adult calls out the names of the images. Children mark the images on their cards as they are called. The first child to get five in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game. The 'Free Space' can be marked at the beginning of the game.
Target Users:
Preschoolers, Kindergarteners, and First-grade students, as well as ESL students learning Christmas vocabulary. This is also suitable for classroom Christmas parties and family holiday activities.
