Information
Description
What It Is:
This is a worksheet featuring two 'School Year BINGO' cards. Each card contains 16 squares, each with a different hand-drawn school-related image. The images include items such as a graduation cap, paper airplane, stack of books, eraser, paintbrush, calculator, ABC blocks, globe, notebook paper, ruler, paperclip, pencil, scissors, protractor, number blocks, school bus, marker, book, glue bottle, and an apple.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Pre-K through 2nd grade. The visual nature of the bingo cards and the simple, recognizable school-related images make it appropriate for young learners. The game format makes learning fun and engaging.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps children build vocabulary related to school supplies and the school environment. It improves visual recognition skills and promotes active listening during gameplay. It's a fun way to introduce or reinforce school-related concepts.
How to Use It:
Print out the bingo cards. Call out the name of an item or show a picture of an item. Students mark the item on their bingo card if they have it. The first student to get bingo (a line of four in a row) wins. You can adapt the winning pattern for different levels of difficulty.
Target Users:
Preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary school teachers can use this worksheet in the classroom. Parents can also use it at home for educational games. Homeschooling families would also benefit from this activity.
