Despite many unusual creatures being frightening, the Menehune of the Hawaiian Islands is actually quite adorable. They seem to have a mischievous nature and enjoy having a little fun. Children will have the opportunity to read about the legend of the Menehune and then answer questions related to the story. It's a delightful way for kids to learn about this Hawaiian legend and engage in a comprehension exercise afterward.
