Information
Description
What It Is:
This is a Thanksgiving-themed bingo worksheet. It features a 5x5 grid with 24 different Thanksgiving-related images such as a woman, pumpkin pie, pumpkin, dish, corn, candy corn, man, gravy, veggies, turkey, roll, football, pinecone, carrot, pie, setting, pear, oven, silverware, leaves, cornucopia, salad, hat, and a turkey meal. The center square is marked as a 'Free Space.' The images are line drawings, making the sheet suitable for coloring.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade. The simple images and familiar Thanksgiving themes make it accessible for young children. It also helps with picture recognition.
Why Use It:
This worksheet can be used to reinforce vocabulary related to Thanksgiving, improve visual discrimination skills, and provide a fun holiday-themed activity. It can also be used to practice listening skills if a caller names the images.
How to Use It:
Print the worksheet and provide crayons or markers for coloring. The teacher or parent can call out the names of the pictures, and the students can mark them off on their bingo cards. The first student to get five in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins.
Target Users:
Preschool teachers, kindergarten teachers, first-grade teachers, parents looking for Thanksgiving activities for their children, and homeschoolers.
