What It Is:
A Bingo-style phonics worksheet where students practice identifying initial sounds by matching spoken letter sounds to pictures on their Bingo board. Designed to make early phonics fun and interactive.
Why Use It:
This worksheet builds strong foundational reading skills by helping students connect beginning sounds to familiar objects. It reinforces phonemic awareness, listening skills, and sound–symbol recognition through active play.
How to Use It:
• One person flips an alphabet card and calls out the sound it makes.
• The other player finds a picture starting with that sound and covers it with a counter.
• Continue calling sounds until a player covers a full row, column, or the entire board.
• Perfect for literacy centers, small groups, partner games, or warm-up activities.
