Description
What It Is:
This is a worksheet titled 'Character Traits'. It asks students to consider different careers that interest them, and then identify the character traits of people who would do well in those careers. The worksheet provides space to list four different careers and write down character traits for each.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is suitable for grades 6-8. It requires students to think critically about different careers and the personality traits needed to succeed in them, which is a more abstract and complex thought process suitable for middle schoolers.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps students explore potential career paths and connect them to personal characteristics. It promotes self-reflection and encourages students to consider their own strengths and weaknesses in relation to different professions. It can be used to foster career exploration and self-awareness.
How to Use It:
First, have the students write down four careers that interest them. Then, for each career, instruct them to list several character traits that would be beneficial for someone in that profession. Finally, have them consider which of the careers they would be best suited for based on their own character traits.
Target Users:
This worksheet is designed for middle school students, guidance counselors, career advisors, and teachers who want to engage students in career exploration and self-assessment activities.
