What It Is:
This is a Christmas-themed worksheet featuring a 'Follow the Star' game, similar to bingo. It contains two different game boards, each with 16 squares. Each square contains a picture related to the Nativity story, such as a baby, a star, a camel, wise men, shepherds, a manger, and the words 'O Holy Night' and 'Silent Night'.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Preschool and Kindergarten (ages 3-6). The images are simple and recognizable, making it easy for young children to understand and participate in the game. The game promotes visual discrimination skills.
Why Use It:
This worksheet can be used to teach children about the Nativity story in a fun and engaging way. It helps develop visual recognition skills, listening skills (if calling out images), and can be used to reinforce vocabulary related to Christmas and the Bible.
How to Use It:
Print out the worksheet. One person can call out the images shown on the boards. Players mark off the images as they are called. The first player to mark off all the images on their board wins. You could use small candies or markers to cover the images.
Target Users:
This worksheet is designed for preschool and kindergarten teachers, Sunday school teachers, parents, or anyone looking for a fun and educational Christmas activity for young children.
