Description
What It Is:
This is an 'I Spy' worksheet themed around objects and people found in a city. The worksheet features rows of different images: people (doctor, businessman, police officer, firefighter, teacher, businessman), vehicles (cars, fire truck, ambulance, taxi), buildings (skyscrapers), more cars, and objects/landmarks (cake, swings, Statue of Liberty, building blocks, Golden Gate Bridge, train, park). Next to each row is an empty box for students to write the number of items they find. The numbers 6 through 10 are displayed at the bottom.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Pre-K to 1st grade. The simple counting and visual identification tasks are appropriate for early learners developing their observation and counting skills.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps develop visual discrimination skills, counting skills, and vocabulary related to urban environments. It encourages observation and attention to detail while reinforcing number recognition.
How to Use It:
Students are instructed to count the number of each item shown in the rows (e.g., how many fire trucks are there?) and write the corresponding number in the empty box next to the row.
Target Users:
Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first-grade students who are learning to count, recognize objects, and improve their visual perception skills.
